Quality specialist checking a small appliance in a product testing laboratory

Сатып алу нұсқаулығы

Prepare a clear appliance RFQ.

Use this six-step guide to align the product, market, quantity, packaging, and delivery basis before you ask for a quotation. Clear inputs lead to more useful model recommendations and more comparable offers.

From product brief to comparable quotation.

Follow the sequence once for the whole project, then keep product-specific details on a separate line for every model. Each step ends with a concrete output you can place into the RFQ.

01

Define the product brief

Start with a model reference or a measurable product need. This keeps recommendations focused and prevents unlike products from entering the same quotation.

  • Which category and customer use case are you buying for?
  • Which capacity, power, material, or accessories matter?
  • Which requirements are mandatory, and which are preferred?
OutputA model shortlist or functional brief
02

Fix the market configuration

Name the destination and sales channel before discussing availability. Electrical, language, packaging, and document requirements can change by market.

  • What are the destination country and sales channel?
  • Which voltage, frequency, and plug are required?
  • Which manual, carton languages, and evidence need review?
OutputOne written market configuration
03

Set the commercial scope

Quote quantity model by model. Separate standard, branded, and customized options so MOQ, sample terms, and lead-time assumptions remain understandable.

  • What quantity is required for each model?
  • Do you need a sample before the bulk order?
  • Are logo, color, artwork, or accessories customized?
OutputA comparable quantity and customization table
04

Specify the retail package

Packaging is part of the quoted product. State what is included instead of assuming every offer uses the same box, manual, protection, or labeling.

  • Standard box or private-label color box?
  • Which manual, barcode, label, and carton marks are needed?
  • Does your retailer have display or packing requirements?
OutputA packaging and artwork requirement list
05

Clarify delivery and timing

A delivery term only becomes useful when the named place is included. Keep the requested launch date separate from the lead time that the final quotation confirms.

  • What is the destination port, city, or named place?
  • Which Incoterm should be quoted, or do you need alternatives?
  • What is the target sample date and shipment window?
OutputA delivery basis with dates and named place
06

Send one clear RFQ

Keep every model on its own line, attach useful references, and ask the reply to identify assumptions, exclusions, validity, and proposed substitutions.

  • Are model, quantity, configuration, and packaging on the same line?
  • Are reference files named and attached?
  • Does the requested reply include assumptions and exclusions?
OutputA quote-ready request your supplier can answer
Availability, MOQ, certification applicability, sample terms, and lead time depend on the exact model, quantity, customization, and destination. Treat them as items for written confirmation in the final quotation—not universal promises.
