Use this six-step guide to align the product, market, quantity, packaging, and delivery basis before you ask for a quotation. Clear inputs lead to more useful model recommendations and more comparable offers.
Follow the sequence once for the whole project, then keep product-specific details on a separate line for every model. Each step ends with a concrete output you can place into the RFQ.
Start with a model reference or a measurable product need. This keeps recommendations focused and prevents unlike products from entering the same quotation.
Name the destination and sales channel before discussing availability. Electrical, language, packaging, and document requirements can change by market.
Quote quantity model by model. Separate standard, branded, and customized options so MOQ, sample terms, and lead-time assumptions remain understandable.
Packaging is part of the quoted product. State what is included instead of assuming every offer uses the same box, manual, protection, or labeling.
A delivery term only becomes useful when the named place is included. Keep the requested launch date separate from the lead time that the final quotation confirms.
Keep every model on its own line, attach useful references, and ask the reply to identify assumptions, exclusions, validity, and proposed substitutions.
